Our aircraft is a Supercharged Cessna 182. The Cessna has a larger cabin and seats with even more useful load and is capable of higher altitudes and more speed. Our aircraft is meticulously maintained by experienced FAA Certified mechanics. Tom personally pilots for all of our guest tours.
On all of our TDVL tours, safety is our priority and primary consideration. We don’t “Push” the Weather and will make other arrangements with you if the unpredictable weather doesn’t allow us to fly in the morning or late afternoon. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we encourage you to do and see the many things our area has to offer. If the weather improves during the day as it often does, we’ll call you on your cell phone and make arrangements to fly ASAP. The months of May, June, early July and September usually offer our clearest summer flying conditions.
A three night or more package for two persons includes a Flightseeing tour to the Glaciers and Alaska Range in one of our fine Aircraft. (We do not make Glacier Landings.) This also includes our Finest accommodations in either the Denali or Trophy Suites for two. And of course, it includes a great Breakfast w/ home-made waffles, fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, Quiche… all you can eat. After Breakfast, we’ll drive you to the nearby airstrip (Carls’ Landing/AK19 or Talkeetna Municipal Airport) for departure, and then fly a 90 minute air tour along the Alaska Range taking in the East & South faces of Denali, Hunter, Foraker and the Glaciers; returning around noon.
Three Night Suite Accommodations for two with Flight for – $793.25 including taxes. This price includes the price of a three night stay in our Denali Suite, bed tax/internet surcharge, and the $95 Fuel and Oil charge. The flight seeing tour is complimentary!
Guests are not responsible for Fuel and Oil Charge if adverse weather conditions require cancellation of flight. Room Accommodations for Flight Packages are for Three nights minimum. You may choose not to stay the three nights if you like, but there are no discounts offered for fewer nights.
